The Social Communication Department of the UCL (COMU) is also a privileged partner, collaborating particularly through the Ecole de journalisme of Louvain and cooperating with our Drama Department through the Centre d’Etudes Théâtrales (CET) and the Atelier Théâtre Jean Vilar. Louvain-la-Neuve is a university town with many cultural, social and material assets to share. Accomodation is easily found and many shops and services of all kinds make students’ every day life very enjoyable. The town offers theatres, museums, a media library... The cultural offer embraces a large scope of activities : lectures, discussion forums, exhibitions, concerts of all kinds. The university libraries are open to our students; those fond of sports will find all they need: a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor sports fields... Louvain-la-Neuve offers the additional advantage of its central location, within a stone’s throw from Brussels, Namur or Charleroi and is easily accessible by train or by car.
