The 180 ECTS Bachelor's degree
The multimedia and computer graphics study programme consists of 3 years. Each year comprises 60 ECTS of learning which split into four main activities : theoretical courses , technical courses and practicals, creative workshops and artistic projects, dissertation and placement .
Students follow a study programme which gives them acess to all craft areas associated with multimedia in the Arts of communication : webdesign and webdevelopment; 2D and 3D animations, special effects, motion design...
The teaching of the theories, techniques and specific tools used in the differents fields of multimedia and computer graphics is mainly provided during the first two years. However, as of the first year, students put their learning into practice through technical courses, practicals, creative workshops and artistic projects and work on real projects. In the third year, students choose to specialize in one or another area when embarking on their graduation project.
The multimedia and computer graphics study programme delivered by the IAD also offers students the advantage of working with the other departments and of becoming acquainted with the professions and working methods of the audiovisual world. For example, during the second year, students will work with cameramen, soundmen and actors on the creation of a mini fiction with special effects. For the third year of their training, the students have to choose an orientation between three possibilities:

TThe 60 ECTS Master's degree
The Master 60 programme is built on seminars, workshops of professional level, internship, the production of work (development and design of websites, animated films 2D and/or3D, special effects films, motion design ,..) and the writing of a dissertation.
